Chairperson, Maaden Trading W.L.L.

Her Highness Sheikha Dheya bint Ebrahim Al Khalifa, PhD, a distinguished member of the Bahraini Royal Family, serves as the Chairperson of Maaden Trading and the Riyada Group. She holds a Bachelor's degree in International Business Studies from the European Business School in London and an Honorary PhD in International Relations from the Geneva School of Diplomacy in Switzerland. Following her studies, Her Highness began her professional journey with Ernst & Young (E&Y) Bahrain.

With over two decades of entrepreneurial leadership, Her Highness has built a renowned conglomerate comprising more than twenty-three companies and joint ventures, spanning sectors such as oil & gas, real estate, corporate finance, food & agriculture, IT & telecom, new technologies, and artificial intelligence.

Her Highness serves on multiple boards of directors and advisory councils, where she contributes strategic insight on growth, governance, and innovation. Her board experience includes guiding organizations through digital transformation, sustainable investment strategies, and market expansion across the MENA region and beyond.

She is also a Board Member of the Abu Dhabi Maritime Academy, where she supports the institution’s mission to develop future maritime leaders and enhance regional industry capabilities. Beyond her business achievements, Her Highness is deeply committed to philanthropy, supporting numerous charitable foundations, and actively promoting cultural dialogue, global understanding, and social development.

Her visionary contributions have earned regional and international recognition. Forbes Middle East ranked her 36th among the Most Powerful 200 Arab Women in the Middle East (2014) and listed her among the Top 100 Most Powerful Arab Businesswomen in Listed Companies.
